Growing up, a simple and delicious meal that my mom would often make was Sloppy Joes! These yummy loose meat sandwiches are perfect to eat on a busy summer night because they are beefy and delicious and take very little time to make.
We love to top our Souper Sloppy Joes with pickles and serve them with chips, potato salad, or baked beans.
Gluten-Free Souper Sloppy Joes
What you will need:
- 1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 can (10.5 oz.) gluten-free tomato soup (we use Dei Fratelli Gluten-Free Condensed Tomato Soup or Amy’s Organic Soups Cream of Tomato)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 6 hamburger rolls, split (we use Canyon Bakehouse Gluten-Free 7-Grain Bread)
How to make:
- Brown the meat in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain any leftover grease.
- Stir in the soup, water, and mustard and mix in with the meat. Reduce heat to medium and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbly.
- Divide the beef mixture among your rolls or bread, serve, and enjoy!
Not gluten-free? No problem! We eat gluten-free in our house but you can make this with regular ingredients. Just use any kind of rolls/bread and tomato soup that you prefer. It should be cheaper too!
