Why This Recipe Works

Perfect for holidays - this air fryer ham is perfect for a quick and delicious ham dinner on holidays. It works great for Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and more. In addition, you can eat this ham anytime!

Easy - this ham could not be easier to make! You just pop it in your air fryer for 30 minutes, and voila! You have a delicious ham dinner on the table ready to eat.

Flavorful - ham itself is already packed full of natural flavor. When you add the brown sugar, however, the flavor is completely elevated and mouth-watering.

Ingredients and Notes

  • Boneless Cooked Ham
  • Brown Sugar
  • Olive Oil Spray
  • Parsley

Boneless pre-cooked sliced ham - it is easiest to use ham that has been pre-cooked and pre-sliced. However, feel free to use a spiral ham and slice it yourself or even ham steaks.

Brown sugar - Feel free to make your own brown sugar by adding molasses to granulated white sugar. Also, if you do not like brown sugar, you can omit this ingredient.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Prep

  1. Firstly, spray your air fryer basket generously with olive oil spray.
  2. Then, place the ham slices in the basket of the air fryer.
  3. After that, coat your ham with brown sugar.

Step 2: Cook

  1. Then, sprinkle parsley evenly on the top of the ham and coat it with olive oil spray.
  2. Following that, cook your ham at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Serve

Once finished cooking, serve the ham warm with your favorite sides like hot fresh rolls with butter, green bean casserole, cheesy potatoes, and more, and enjoy!

Storage and Reheating

If you want to store and reheat your leftover air fryer ham, you have a few great options!

Best Way To Store

Store any leftover ham in an airtight container or freezer bag. You can also wrap each slice individually with cling wrap or aluminum foil.

How Long Will The Leftovers Last In the Fridge?

As long as your ham is stored properly, it can last in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Can I Freeze Leftover Air Fried Ham?

Yes, you can! To freeze your leftover ham, just wrap it in a layer of cling wrap or foil, then place your ham slices in a freezer bag. Your leftover ham will last up to 4 months in the freezer.

How To Reheat Air Fryer Ham

To reheat your leftover ham, wrap your ham slices in aluminum foil and place them in the air fryer basket. Heat them at 325 degrees F for about 5-10 minutes or until warmed through.

Expert Tips

  • If you are following a keto or low-carb diet, air frying your ham is an excellent choice! You will just want to leave off the brown sugar or use Swerve instead.
  • And just always be sure to check that internal temperature before serving!

Air Fried Ham FAQs

How Long Do You Cook Ham in an Air Fryer?

There are many different air fryers that have different settings, however, most air fryers cook at the same temperatures.

For my air fryer ham recipe, I cook mine at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes and it cooks perfectly every time.
You will want to make sure that your ham is cut into appropriate-sized pieces for air frying before you start cooking it. Luckily, most store-bought spiral hams come pre-sliced on the bone, so you just need to cut off the pieces!

The air fryer ham recipe that I share below is very simple and easy to follow. It's perfect for someone who doesn't have the time or resources to cook an entire Christmas ham all day long

How Long Do You Cook a 2.5 Pound Ham?

If you are cooking a pre-cooked ham from the grocery store, you should be able to cook it for about 10 minutes per pound.
If you purchase a raw ham, however, you will need to cook it at about 20 minutes per pound.

Just make sure the internal temperature of any ham you are cooking reaches at least 145 degrees Fahrenheit when inserting a meat thermometer in the middle away from any bone.

Can I Fry My Ham?

Besides air frying, you can pan fry or even deep fry ham if that is what you prefer! This method will make your ham crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside.

However, this method of cooking ham is not the most healthy option. Air frying does not use any oil and the holes in the air frying basket drain excess grease.
This makes air frying a much healthier choice with no extra added fat.

How Long To Cook a Country Ham in the Air Fryer?

If you prefer the flavor of country ham over traditional spiral ham, that's totally fine! You can definitely cook a country ham in your air fryer as well.

You will cook your country ham the exact same way as you cook your traditional sliced ham in the air fryer, just make sure you cut your slices pretty thin so they don't take too long to cook.
