Gluten Free Chinese Food Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 whisked egg
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cubed
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 thai chili pepper minced optional
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tablespoon diced green onions
- ⅓ cup honey
- 2 tablespoon gluten free tamari soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, gluten-free soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil and red pepper flakes.⅓ cup honey, 2 tablespoon gluten free tamari soy sauce, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Combine the cornstarch and brown sugar in a separate bowl.½ cup cornstarch, 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- Place the whisked egg in a separate bowl.1 whisked egg
- Add the chicken to the egg and coat it in the cornstarch mixture.1 lb boneless, 1 whisked egg
- Add the olive oil to a large skillet heated to medium.3 tablespoon olive oil

- Cook the chicken until it is slightly browned on all sides.1 lb boneless
- Pour the honey sauce over the chicken and sauté it for 2-3 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet and simmer for another for 6-8 minutes.
