Using an air fryer is also convenient for cooking for one or two people-no need to be tethered to the stovetop or oven while your food cooks!

Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin turns out great with just 5 minutes of prep time and 20 minutes in the air fryer.

Pork is one of the most versatile meats you can cook. You can make it spicy, sweet, savory, or even mix in some herbs and seasonings. It's also a great protein to use when cooking for just 1-2 people.

How to Make This Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin

Step 1: Preparing Your Pork Tenderloin

  • First, preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F.
  • While your air fryer is preheating, mince the cloves of garlic. Then, pat the pork tenderloin dry with some paper towels.
  • After that, drizzle the pork tenderloin with the olive oil and sprinkle it with the garlic that you just minced, the lemon juice, Italian seasoning, and some salt and pepper.
  • Use a brush to evenly distribute all of the seasonings on the pork on all sides.

Step 2: Cooking Your Pork Tenderloin

  • Following that, place the seasoned pork loin into your air fryer basket. You may need to cut the pork in half in order for it to fit depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Cook the pork for 20 minutes. Once done, check the internal temperature of the pork with a meat thermometer making sure it has reached 145 degrees F.
  • If the internal temperature has not reached 145, cook it for an additional few minutes and check it again. Continue doing this until the proper temperature has been reached.

Step 3: Serving Your Pork Tenderloin

  • Finally, remove the pork loin from the air fryer, and place it on a cutting board to rest for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Slice your roast and serve it with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!

How to Reheat & Store Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin

If you want to store and reheat your leftover air fryer pork tenderloin, you have a few great options!

Best Way to Store Air Fried Pork Tenderloin

If you want to store leftover air fryer pork tenderloin, you should keep it in an airtight container and either refrigerate it or freeze it for up to 3 months.

I would advise not freezing the meat more than once because this could affect the texture and flavor of the meat.

How Long Will Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin Last in the Fridge?

Your leftover pork will last in the fridge for about 3-4 days. I would suggest eating your pork no later than the 4th day to ensure safety.

Can I Freeze Pork Tenderloin?

Yes, you can! You can safely freeze your leftover tenderloin for up to 3 months. I would suggest thawing and reheating your pork at no later than 3 months in order to keep its texture and flavor.

How to Reheat Air Fryer Pork

For oven reheating, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and cook the meat for about 10 minutes or until it is heated through. If you feel like it needs a bit more moisture, you can add a tablespoon of water.

You can also reheat your pork in the air fryer! Before reheating in the air fryer, just make sure to spray the basket with cooking oil so your meat doesn't stick. Then cook at 350 degrees F for about 8-10 minutes until the pork tenderloin is heated through.

You can also throw your leftover meat into a microwave-safe container along with half a cup of water (to help keep it moist) and heat at 50% power for about 3-4 minutes depending on the wattage of your microwave.

Pork Tenderloin in the Air Fryer FAQs

How Long Does Pork Take in the Air Fryer?

How long your pork takes to cook in the air fryer really depends on the size of your cut of meat.
For my recipe, I used 1.5lbs of pork tenderloin and I cooked it in my air fryer at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes.
Your cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer, but you just need to make sure that your meat reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.

What Temp Should I Cook Pork Tenderloin?

I cooked my pork at 400 degrees F. However, I know some air fryers only go up to about 360 degrees F.
If your air fryer does not go up to 400 degrees, just use the highest temperature available and keep adding a few minutes of cooking time until it reaches the proper temperature.

How Long Do You Cook a Pork Tenderloin Per Pound?

For traditional oven cooking, the rule of thumb is to cook your pork at about 25 minutes per pound.
However, an air fryer takes less time than an oven so for my recipe, I cooked my pork at about 15 minutes per pound.

Can You Put Breaded Tenderloins in an Air Fryer?

Yes, you can and they are absolutely delicious! A great way to make breaded pork tenderloins that are gluten free is to mix some gluten free panko crumbs with salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, and some Italian seasoning for some flavor.
Then spray your air fryer basket and your pork with cooking oil spray so the breaded pieces won't stick to each other and so that they get extra crispy.
Cook these at 400 degrees F for about 15 minutes total, stopping to flip them at the half-minute mark.

This gluten free air fryer pork tenderloin recipe is perfect for those who want to enjoy a juicy, flavorful meal without the guilt of eating fried food.

The best part about this dish? It's quick and easy! In less than 30 minutes you can have a delicious meal that tastes like it took hours to make.
